From social interaction to digital trace

image1

The passing from the technical computing to the cultural uses in the digital, or the passage from “computing” to “digital” (Doueihi, 2011), rewrotes the social interaction. The latter, being a process of interpretation and definition, lost the symbolic aspect (Mead, 1934) by which people establish the meaning of actions and gestures of others, and indicate in return how they would react. We are therefore faced with a paradigm shift from the interaction to traceability in an environment where we can’t not leave traces (Merzeau, 2009).

This general lecture was held in the School of Communication in Catholic University of Indonesia – Atma Jaya in Jakarta on October 24th of 2016.

Digital traceability and social participation of persons with disabilities: inclusive environment, archives and collaborative activities

image4The digital affects all aspects of our lives. It changes the relationship between people, by modifying the symbolic interaction and producing a traceability of persons and objects. The new digital environment is constantly changing, and offers unlimited opportunities for many communities and wider publics, allowing them to express themselves and their needs, and to build their projects. Persons with different types of disabilities find new manners of communication and new ways of carrying out their life habits.The digital, as a culture, modifies the information itself, its sharing and its usage. How can we deal with the e-information?

How can we define the social participation in the digital era? And what are the forms of digital uses which facilitate the inclusion of persons with disabilities and promote the exercise of their rights?

This lecture took place in the Faculty of Psychology in Catholic University-Widya Mandala in Surabaya City in Indonesia on september 26th of 2016. To view the presentation: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0pzbHXvgDK8MUtOUm9VRUNSem8

A CULTURA DIGITAL E A PARTICIPAÇÃO SOCIAL DE PESSOAS COM INCAPACIDADES PSÍQUICAS: Investir os rastros digitais em uma presença

imageConferencia Unilasalle-31.05.2016

  1. O usuário da rede social digital;
  2. o usuário de jogos de computador e sites de entretenimento;
  3. o usuário de jogos de vídeo on-line;
  4. o indivíduo analfabeto informaticamente.

Encontramos 3 modelos de gestão da e-visibilidade:

  1. Farol (Cardon, 2008);
  2. a Lanterna mágica (Cardon, 2008);
  3. o Passaporte (Saba Ayon, 2014).

Além disso, o digital facilita a metacomunicação (Bateson, 1977) dessas pessoas.
